1 9 6 6 - The Vegrad General Construction Company merged with the Construction Operation of the Velenje Coal Mine. The construction of the city of Velenje led to the development of the company’s construction activities. Number of employees: 710.

1 9 6 8 - Construction work on the territory of the former Yugoslavia.

1 9 6 9 - Construction work in the European space.

1 9 7 1 - We introduced building with Outinord tunnel panelling in housing construction. Number of employees: 1,020.

1 9 7 3 - Vegrad merged with the Oljka Industrial Production Company of Šmartno ob Paki. The business expanded to carpentry, final work in construction, a metal range, lime production, processing of building materials and non-metals for the chemical industry.

1 9 7 4 - Vegrad constituted as a labour organisation with two basic organisations of associated labour, Construction Operations and Construction Industry in the Construction Industry Company Vegrad. n.sol.o. Vemont constructions. Number of employees: 1.657.

1 9 7 7 - Cellular construction programme DOM 101 introduced.

1 9 7 8 - Vegrad merged with Gorenje Lesna Šostanj, part of Gradbenik Ljubno and Kamin of Ljubljana. At the same time, Construction Operations Velenje, Vemont, Completion Work and Mechanisation were organised as BOALs. Number of employees: 2,135.

1 9 8 0 - As part of the DOM 101 programme, we developed the production of Velak light construction and production and installation of sanitary cabins.

1 9 8 3 - Since 1978, the following units operated within the framework of GIP Vegrad Velenje as BOALs: Construction Operations Velenje, Construction Operations Ljubljana, Construction Operations Belgrade, Vemont, Completion Work, Mechanisation, Project Bureau, Industrial Roofing Gradbenik Ljubno ob Savinji, and Lesna Šostanj. Number of employees: 2,266.

1 9 8 7 - The BOALs within GIP Vegrad were merged to form a unified work organisation GIP Vegrad p.o. Velenje, Prešernova 9a. Number of employees: 2,065.

1 9 8 8 - Construction and completion works in Russia.

1 9 9 0 - The company adapted to the provisions of the Companies Act and was recorded in the court register as Gradbeno industrijsko podjetje Vegrad, Velenje, Prešernova 9a, p.o. Number of employees: 1,954.

1 9 9 7 - In accordance with the Commercial Companies Act and the Privatisation Act, Vegrad was organised as a joint stock company Vegrad d.d., Gradbeno industrijsko podjetje with its principal office in Velenje, Prešernova 9a. Number of employees: 933.

1 9 9 9 - ISO 9001 quality certificate obtained.
